Elizabeth transports medical supplies to an isolated clinic in the peak of Liberia’s rainy system. With roads washed out, Elizabeth and her team members often walk distances ranging from nine to 15 miles to replenish clinic supplies.

A native of Sierra Leone, Elizabeth began working for International Medical Corps during its response to the country’s brutal civil war. She has now worked for IMC for almost 10 years and serves as the program coordinator in Liberia.
